Groveborne

I am not the NPC hoarder that Cele is, but I have enough mentioned throughout it might be nice to have a directory of who's who. For now, this will remain sorted by relation to my characters. If you have need of someone here, or want to mention them, please let me know! Just post here, PM me, or ping me on Discord.

So, without further ado:

Aidan Amberden

• Avelyn Amberden – (Deceased.) Mother; died in childbirth
• Josef Allan-Amberden – (Deceased.) Father; killed when Aidan was 7 in a boggle 'ambush' contracted by his uncle
• Harlyn Amberden – Uncle, twin to Aidan's mother. Blames him for Avelyn’s death. Head of the Amberden household as of Aidan's Choosing at 17
• Lorelai Silverfield – Aunt, younger sister to Avelyn and Harlyn
• Marciella – Governess. 'Marci' to everyone but Aidan, who called her Milla. Closest thing to a mother Aidan has ever known
• Johan – Childhood tutor; the first mentor Aidan had. A kind old man with a grave demeanor
• Corvan – Blood mage, ambitious. Works for Lynden Belmore, but is loyal to himself. General 'fixer,' sometimes assassin. Killed Aidan's father on Lynden's order and 'adopted' him with intent to use him
• Bevan – Has Fetching. A Lynden 'protégé' and a peer when Aidan was training at his prison-like academy. Something of a rival; their relationship was antagonistic
• Katya – (Deceased.) One of Aidan’s instructors at Lynden's school. Taught him the shroud spell he uses to hide from scrying and helped him escape. Killed herself the night he ran rather than live with her guilt
• Bosker – (Deceased.) Foreign and a former mercenary; fought for Hardorn in the war. 'Boss' to Aidan, led the crew he joined after Lynden. Killed when Corvan was ordered to attack his gang’s base
• Amilie – (Deceased.) Part of Bosker's crew. Aidan's first friend after the boggle attack. Killed when Corvan attacked the crew's base
• Jacen – Herald, bonded to Companion Orascha. Aidan's mentor after his return from k'Rika Vale. Personable and amicable, but also very by-the-books. Their relationship is strained.

Aidan has several NPCs in his story who do not belong to me, but play important roles nevertheless.

Ashrin Brendan

• Loren Brendan – Father; Grand Duke and South District Councilor. A warm man of stately bearing
• Aleria Brendan – Mother; a Brendan through marriage but high nobility in her own right. A classy lady with surprising skill
• Landin Brendan – Brother; three years Ashrin's senior. Charming and personable. They don't look much alike, but they're close.
• Mana – Brendan Caravan Scout Master. One of Ashrin's childhood mentors and as good as a second mother. A sassy lioness of a woman
• Nomad – Mana's Peregrine Falcon. She guides him with Animal Mindspeech to ferry messages and reports, and he's a fierce hunter
• Cadfael – (Deceased.) Ashrin's childhood pony. She was forced to end his misery after a debilitating fall when she was 14
